Meet Maria High, our 2nd West Eveleth family. When she found out she had been accepted, Maria said, “I was ecstatic and so excited! I was feeling extremely blessed and grateful for the opportunity that had arisen to work with Habitat for Humanity. I’m most looking forward to being able to take part in not only building my own home but to help others with theirs and to help take action in our community. I feel like there’s a different sense of purpose and originality when you get to work on your own versus just buying one off the market as well.”
