Habitat Women

This week, as Women's History Month comes to a close, we are highlighting several of the amazing women who donate hours of their time volunteering with Habitat for Humanity.

Christy Mesojedec has been one of our most active women on Habitat builds. She has generously donated hours of her time as a volunteer building supervisor, boldly and skillfully stepping forward in an area all-too-often dominated by men. She is also a former board member and still serves with the family support committee.

Renee Lutwinko chairs the family selection committee. This active and key committee lays the groundwork for every successful Habitat build by carefully reviewing every homeowner application. We thank her for gracefully fulfilling one of the more emotionally-difficult roles within Habitat.

Bernice Sabetti has been serving on the Habitat board for less than a year, but has already lent her wide base of knowledge and incredible networking skills to our organization. Bernice took a leading role in the Event Committee this year, adding incredible energy and inspiration to each meeting and gathering the majority of items in our silent auction! We thank her for the dynamic energy she had brought to Habitat.
