Build Apostle Brunch

  • Thank you to everyone who came to kick-off the build season at our Build Apostle Brunch this weekend! As part of the Church Relations Committee's goal to be more intentional and open about in the way we connect to our partners in faith, it was wonderful to meet area pastors, connect to our homeowners, and start the build season together. An intimate group of 24 people gathered for a warm and delicious brunch prepared by Jon, Tom, Judy and Sharon. Flowing conversation began immediately thanks to a silly (and sometimes confusing!) name tag mix activity. And then throughout our meal we tested our knowledge in a Habitat trivia team game. Two of our most experienced builders, Doug Gettle and Harold Wentland, were unequivocal founts of knowledge, helping lead their tables to victory. Thank you for celebrating with us this weekend. We look forward to many church volunteer days this summer!
