Habitat500 Training Tip #15

Looking back to past rides we found this fun letter. It was written by Nathan’s daughter, Katie, after she rode in the Habitat500 when she was just 13 years old. Installment 4:

On the fourth day we went from Hibbing to McGregor It was a hard day, in the morning when I woke up I was really tired and I felt kind of crabby. I didn’t want to get on the bike again but I did anyway. By the end of the day I had gotten over my anger issues and decided that this was the time my Dad was talking about during training when it turned from fun to work. I decided that I would just go with it.

So when we got in to McGregor my parents and the Simons decided to go and get ice cream. I did not want to go so I stayed at the school, while I was there waiting, I met Chelsea and her little sister. They introduced me to Sam and Bjorn and chelea's little sister was obsessed with them so we passed time by bugging them. That night I went to a park with them and we played for a while before I went to bed.

Check back next week for the next installment of Katie’s letter!
