Voices rang out at Gethsemane Lutheran Church in Virginia on May 17th and again at Our Savior’s Lutheran in Hibbing on May 31st for the annual Habitation Singspirations. The concerts featured soloists, small groups and church choirs.

From the powerful solo of Diana Giambetti to the fun and energetic harmonies of the Dischords, each musician added a wonderful and unique piece to the program in Hibbing. We especially want to thank Pastor Dan Smith, Jan Gregorich, and Our Savior's Lutheran Church for coordinating and hosting the entire concert.

In Virginia, 117 people gathered to hear seven amazing vocal ensembles. From the beautiful opening in The Prayer sung by the Gethsemane Choir to the energetic praise music sung by Amazing Grace from Trinity Lutheran Church in Virginia, from the tight and charming harmonies of the Dischords to the soaring tones of Mary Beth Reller's Simple Gifts, the dynamic concert at Gethsemane brought together some of the best vocalists in our area. We especially want to thank Tom Krause and Gethsemane Lutheran Church for coordinating and hosting the concert.

The fund-raising events raised $1352 for the Thrivent Builds project in West Eveleth. The music was inspiring and the fellowship over treats afterward was filled with fun-filled chatter and joy.
